Famous Japanese B-class gourmets are Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki and Monjyayaki, Yakisoba. Those are usually cooked on a large iron plate called “Teppan”. It is highly regional so there are Tokyo style, Osaka style, or Hiroshima style, etc, so that you can enjoy the difference.

These are often served in a summer festival in the street, so that festival mood makes the dish even more delicious.
